Atlus has unveiled a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival, a remake of the 2008 role-playing game, introducing five new features. These include fully voiced events, the Send Flying battle feature, new music from composer Ryota Kozuka, the Baton Pass feature, and the Prime Time Meter. The game will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC with Xbox Game Pass, and PC via Steam on February 18, 2027. Pre-orders are now available. Animation studio MAPPA will handle the animated cutscenes, and the remake will feature a new English voice cast.
The original Persona 4, released for PlayStation 2 in 2008, received a port for PlayStation Vita in 2011 as Persona 4 Golden. The franchise has inspired several spin-offs, including Persona 4 Arena and its sequel, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and Persona 4: Dancing All Night. Persona 3 Reload, the remake of Persona 3, was released in February 2024 and later for Nintendo Switch in October 2025. Persona 5, released in September 2016, featured animation sequences from Production I.G.
Persona 5 Royal, a role-playing game, was released in October 2019 for PS4 in Japan and in March 2020 in the Americas and Europe. It received a Nintendo Switch release in October 2022. Atlus West's YouTube channel showcases the game's trailer, highlighting the new features and release date.
